New Mothers' Support Groups

Support Groups for New Mothers in Northern Virginia - convenient to Manassas, Fairfax & Neighboring Areas.

There are a lot of myths about motherhood. The most common myth is that pregnancy, delivery, and motherhood are the happiest times in a woman's life. In reality, this can be the most trying time as moms adjust to things like changes in their relationships with spouses, family, and friends and to their new identities as mothers.

Many find it beneficial to talk to other women who are going through similar life experiences. We are currently forming support groups for women who are interested. The group will meet for 1.5 hours for a period of 9 weeks, and will be facilitated by Kimberly Ragan, MSW, LCSW. The cost is $45 per session.
